What we collect
When you submit a request, you give us your email address, optionally a WhatsApp or WeChat handle, details about your supplier, and whatever you choose to write about your concerns. That is all we ask for.
We also use Google Analytics 4, described below.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are actually read. It sets
first-party cookies (_ga, _ga_*) and sends usage data to Google.
We have not enabled advertising features, remarketing, Google Signals or cross-device reporting. We do not sell this data, and we do not use it to build profiles of individual buyers. The only question it answers is which pages are worth keeping.
You can block it without losing anything. The site works identically with analytics blocked — no content, form or contact route depends on it. Browser cookie settings, tracking-protection lists and Google’s own opt-out add-on all work.
Why we keep it
We use your details to reply to your request, to scope and deliver the engagement, and to keep a record of what was agreed. We do not sell your data, and we do not pass your identity to the supplier beyond stating that we act for an overseas buyer.
Reports and footage
Reports, photographs and video produced for you are yours. We keep a copy for our own records and for dispute resolution. We will not publish your material without written permission.
Payment data
We do not process card payments and we never see your card details. Payments are made through WeChat Pay or Alipay, and are subject to those platforms’ own privacy terms. We keep only the receipt and the amount.
How long
Enquiry records that do not become engagements are deleted within 12 months. Engagement records, including reports, are kept for up to 5 years for accounting and dispute purposes.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask us to delete it — subject to records we are required to keep. Write to hello@verifychinafactory.com.
